2nd Shift Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Training on 1st Shift)

Location: Mesquite, TX
Schedule:

• Training: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (for 2 weeks)
• Regular Shift: 2nd Shift | 6pm-6am on rotation

Pay Rate: 23.00hr

Job Summary:

A global leader in solar energy and sustainability, is seeking reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our growing team in Mesquite, TX. This is a 2nd shift position, with a mandatory 2-week training period on 1st shift. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Use an electric pallet jack for transporting goods as required
• Perform inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
• Utilize RF scanners for inbound and outbound tracking of materials
• Load and unload trailers and containers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives
• Assist with other warehouse and production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Proficient with electric pallet jacks
• Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and RF scanning systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a forklift evaluation and pre-employment screening
