Customer Service Agent

JOB DESCRIPTION

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Training: 2-week training period in Arlington, TX

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Customer Service Agent fluent in English and Spanish. This role is pivotal in connecting individuals with the resources and support offered.  The ideal candidate will be adept at handling inquiries, providing information about services, and assisting clients in navigating available programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance, both in-person and via phone or email.
  • Provide information and guidance on SDEP services, including employment opportunities, housing, transportation, health and wellness programs, and digital literacy resources.
  • Assist clients in completing applications and required documentation for various programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with SDEP partners to coordinate services and referrals.
  • Participate in community outreach events to promote SDEP services.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service or community outreach preferred.
  • Familiarity with the South Dallas community and its resources is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, data entry).
  • Ability to complete a 2-week training program in Arlington, TX.
