Established Dallas-based employee-owned architectural metal company in Dallas is hiring for a Project Manager.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our projects in Texas, Georgia, Washington DC, Virginia, and Florida. This position is full-time, with occasional travel to job sites as needed. Shift- 1st flexibility for weekends is required 8/10hr shifts
Salary-70-90K (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee architectural metal projects from contract signing through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Conduct job site visits as necessary to ensure quality control and smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, and installation teams to ensure alignment.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, general contractors, vendors, and field teams to prevent and resolve issues before they arise.
- Track project financials, manage change orders, and issue RFIs to keep projects aligned with scope and budget.
- Forecast potential challenges and provide solutions before they become roadblocks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in custom steelwork, architectural specialties, or commercial construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from $300K to $2M+in value.
- Strong understanding of architectural fabrication, installation methods, and materials.
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and clients.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project-management software (We use TEAMS), and willing to learn trade-specific software.
- Willing and able to travel to job sites as needed.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
