JOB DESCRIPTION

Snelling is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team and oversee the scheduling and flow of print and mail operations. This role is critical to ensuring timely production, meeting SLAs, and maintaining smooth operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Pay-6am-2pm

Pay-17.00

*Print & Mail industry experience prefer but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a master production schedule for print and inserting operations.

  • Plan and schedule workflow, providing hourly updates and tracking job status to meet SLA targets.

  • Expedite job orders and recommend solutions to address unforeseen production delays.

  • Communicate with Account Management/Client Service teams regarding production requests and inquiries.

  • Track equipment downtime and job delays, coordinating with IT, Programming, or Client Service as needed.

  • Assess scheduling performance and advise on corrective or preventive actions.

  • Coordinate material movement with the warehouse team to ensure continuous operations.

  • Prepare daily shift reports and maintain knowledge of production objectives and strategies.
